We visited the Cango Wildlife Ranch where we got to see cheetahs, leopards, more lions, tigers, and so much more.
Here besides getting to see the animals we got to take a walk with a cheetah – such a curious animal. I took a walk with Stark who will be coming to Texas in the next few months to be an ambassador for her species here. She was a wonderful walking companion – she did not like to sit much and often found exciting things to watch like cars going by outside the ranch, the moving rock aka tortoise confused her, and the sprinkler intrigued her.
Besides the walk we got to go into the cheetah enclosure to see Raven, also visit the serval and the lemurs. The lemurs were so soft you wanted to cuddle them and the cheetah just let you pet and scratch behind its ear. Super intimidating to get in the enclosure with the cheetah but an amazing experience.
Before we left we adopted a cheetah and named her Willow – we have already gotten a couple updates on her and some cute photos.
